7 Simple Steps in Paper Plane Building
Do you still remember those times in pre-school when your teacher scolded you because you made that paper plane and let it loose in the classroom? Childhood certainly bring us fond memories of carefree times when everything was a lot simpler. Below are simple steps on how you and your child could enjoy the fun of flight with a simple paper plane. Or if you've ever been to a baseball game, a perfect something to entertain your child (if you're sitting up high). And of course, since we wouldn't want you to waste paper, we'd highly recommend using some of our better than recycled paper

Basic Paper Plane Design: What to do
Begin by getting a rectangular piece of paper.
Step 1:
Get a piece of paper and fold it lengthwise into two equal parts. Make sure that the paper is divided equally to produce a well balanced plane.

Step 2:
Fold the upper left and right corners into the center, both tips should meet exactly at the center with their edges parallel with each other. This should form a triangle at the upper part of the paper, make sure that the tip of the triangle is sharp and located exacted at the papers midline. This would allow the paper plane to cut smoothly thru the air providing longer hang time.

Step 3
Make another fold by turning the triangle formed by the second step inwards. Be sure that the tip of the triangle intersects the midline of the paper perfectly. The fold should start from the base of the triangle to make a perfect inverted triangle.

Step 4:
Pull the right and left upper corner tips inward towards the midline of the paper. Make sure that the two tips meet just a fraction above the apex of the inverted triangle.

Step 5:
Lock the two parts of the paper by folding the tip of the triangle upwards towards the new folds created by the earlier step. This latest fold would ensure that the two sides of the paper remains locked during flight.

Step 6:
Fold the paper again into two with the left and right edges of the paper pointing upwards. Check for symmetry and ensure that both sides are equal and proportionate to each other.

Step 7:
Fold the right and left edges of the paper inwards towards the papers midline to form the two wings. Gently unfurl the wings and make sure they are perpendicular to each other. This flat surface would ensure a smooth flow or air above and below the wings providing better lift during flight.
